Beautiful view of the Tatra peaks, quiet and peaceful surroundings are ideal for families with children. The High Tatras with its 24 peaks higher than 2 500 m is the king of the Slovak mountains. The mountain massif, measuring from east to west 25 km, is part of the Tatra National Park, established in 1949 which is the largest national park in Slovakia. There are more than 110 lakes, as well as numerous waterfalls and caves. The High Tatras is the most visited and the most developed tourist region in Slovakia, with the widest possibilities for sports activities in summer and winter. The main centers are the climatic spa Štrbské Pleso, Stary Smokovec and Tatranska Lomnica.

Directly in Velka Lomnica are located a few sports and recreational centers. It is planned to expand their number in the future. In their neighborhood is the largest golf area in Slovakia - Golf resort Black Stork, situated in Velka Lomnica. It is a professional 18 hole course, which shortly will grow by another 9 holes. In the near future there is planned a construction of a new water park, which will make this resort more lucrative. The base of the new water park will be more than two kilometers deep geothermal borehole. The apartment is located in village Velka Lomnica at the confluence of the Poprad river and Skalnaté river, halfway between Poprad and Kezmarok at turn to Tatranska Lomnica. In the distance of approximately 600 m is growing a new relax-thermal wellness center.
